9. Ford Ranger
Produced and sold by the Ford Motor Company, the Ranger is a nameplate used on three distinct model lines of pickup trucks.
The manufacturing for the North American version Ranger model started in January 1982, that’s when the 1983 model year was put in production. A production that lasted until 2011.
During its 29-year production run, the Ford Ranger model received several updates and facelifts.
Whilst for the markets outside of North America, the company engineered the Japanese-built Mazda B-Series as the Courier starting in 1971, renaming it the Ranger in 1998.
