8. Ford Fusion
Produced by the Ford Company since 2006, the Fusion is a mid-size car model.
Production on the first Fusions began on August 1, 2005, and replaced the Mondeo model for the Latin American markets.
Manufactured at Hermosillo Stamping & Assembly, the 2010 model was awarded the Motor Trend Car of the Year, and the hybrid version of it won the 2010 North American Car of the Year Award.
This model was the first production car to feature the “new face of Ford” three-bar grille, and the look has since been used on most of Ford’s product line.
The Fusion model even became the new body style for Ford automobiles in NASCAR, replacing the Taurus
