Which was founded in in 1937 by Kiichiro Toyoda as a spinoff from his father’s company Toyota Industries, in order to create automobiles.
While still a department of Toyota Industries, three years later, it created its first product, the Type A engine.
The Toyota Motor Corporation produces vehicles under 5 brands, including the Toyota brand, Hino, Lexus, Ranz, and Scion.
In 2013 the multinational corporation consisted of 333,498 employees worldwide, and one year later, meaning this year, Toyota became the twelfth-largest company in the world by revenue.
And it is known as the world’s first automobile manufacturer to produce more than 10 million vehicles per year.
