Japanese whiskey Suntory Kakubin was first launched in 1937 and since then it has been recognizable for a flavor tailored to the delicate Japanese palate and its enduring tortoise-shell bottle.

Suntory Kakubin, meaning ‘square bottle’ in Japanese, is now bottled at 40% vol.
There also is a less common white and black label of this beverage.

Described as a ‘classic example of lighter Japanese whiskey from its era‘, the whiskey saw 11% growing case sales in 2013 to reach 3.1 million.

Three years ago, on May 21st, Premium Kakubin was launched in Japan, a whiskey that utilizes carefully selected malt from wine and sherry casks at Yamazaki Distillery and Hakushu Distillery.
This version has a rich, layered aroma providing a luxurious experience.
