9. Pagani Zonda
The supercar built by the Italian manufacturer Pagani, debuted in 1999, and its production ended in 2011, with three special edition cars, the Zonda 760RS, Zonda 760LH and the Zonda 764 Passione, being produced in 2012.
A great version of it is the Zonda R, which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show 2007, and is using the 6.0 litre V12 M120 engine sourced from the race version of the Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR.
Despite it shares the Zonda’s shape, the R version is almost entirely new.
The bodywork and aerodynamics have been altered to offer maximum down-force, and features a longer front bonnet with flaps, and a closed underbody.
Its engine output was increased to 740 hp at 8500 rpm, and it features a lightweight carbon fibre high performance intake system, and Formula One-style exhaust system.
