8. Pagani Huayra
The Huayra is an Italian mid-engined sports car produced by Pagani, and the successor of the Pagani Zonda.
This car was named after Wayra Tata, which means “God of the winds” in Quechua, the official language of the Inca Empire.
Huayra uses a twin-turbo, V12 engine developed by Mercedes-AMG specially for this car, and its 6.0-litre engine produces 720 bhp, and 1,000 N·m of torque.
The Pagani Huayra can reach a top speed of about 231 mph (372 km/h), and can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour (0–97 km/h) in just 3.2 seconds.
It is capable of changing the height of the front from the ground and independently by operating four flaps placed at the rear and front of the car.
The Huayra was awraded the title of “The Hypercar of the Year 2012” by Top Gear magazine, and received a very positive review when tested by Richard Hammond.
