2.Go Western
Brace yourselves because the fashion scene this season is going to be wild! And when I say wild, I literally mean it. Designers turned once again to the wild West style!
Well, I suppose we should’ve expected this after Karl Lagerfeld‘s major breakthrough at Chanel Métiers d’Art in Dallas in December, where he featured embroideries inspired by Lone Star, fringed suede and even a holster signed by Chanel No. 5!
This was just the start because only after a few weeks, numerous designers started to work together on the Western revival and it’s certain now that this will be one of the hottest trends this upcoming season.
So, whether you go for a fringed leather bag, a bolero with Western motifs or an oversized cowboy hat, anything will do the trick. And you have a lot of options, designers like Cushnie et Ochs, Alexander Wang, Kenneth Cole and Concept Korea own the Western stage!
Personal advice: go for the cowboy hat. Over the past year, fashion is more and more all about hats and they look better from season to season. I know I’m getting one of these!
