The body of the concept car is made out of 260 interchangeable parts contained in its hinges.
These particulars are mobile and can be open or closed. Resembling fish scales is not their only use. They store solar power,having a photovoltaic function and operate as an air break providing extra support for the actual brakes.
The parts covering the wheel prove their utility as soon as the concept car starts to move. Twelve scales move into formation inside the wheel ,taking the shape of a turbine.
The designer, Anne Forschner, wanted to create something that would deviate from the comfortable accepted conformity. Do you think she succeeded?
