10 Unknown Facts about Harry Potter Movies
I suppose most of us here grew up with the magical stories of Harry Potter. I remember not sleeping at night for so many days to read all the books.
And then the movies came and met our expectations: they were glorious! But I’m going to share with you today some unknown facts about the Harry Potter movies.
The Harry Potter series struck the world in the most pleasant way possible. J. K. Rowling, the author of the books, is the first person to become a billionaire only from writing a series of books. Now that’s impressive!
The books, of course, were later turned into movies. A series of movies that lasted for 10 years! Well, 10 years that paid off because they earned $7,723,431,572 in worldwide receipts!
But let’s now reveal a little part of this magical world!
1.Almost Deadly Flying Scene
So you thought dangerous action happens only on the big screens? Well, wait until you hear this!
We all saw the movies and held our breath while the characters chased each other flying high in the sky on broomsticks, but did you ever think how was that possible?
Of course, you saw the trick, how they put a broomstick on a green background so they can later add digital effects. So, there you go, some special video effects added on the computer and there you go. Not much of a big deal, right?
Well, not for the Harry Potter movies! Danger is around the corner even in the real life. Let me tell you a little terrifying story that happened behind the scenes while filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2.
David Holmes was Daniel Radcliff’s stunt double and during the filming of a flying scene for the last movie of the series, he was serious injured that left him paralysed.
That was certainly not the glorious end of the series he expected.
