4.That’s an Old Ghost
There should be an age limit for a student, even at Hogwarts, right? Come on, of course that doesn’t apply in a magical world!
I’m sure you remember when we were first introduced to Moaning Myrtle in the second movie, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and then later, in the forth one, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
She is the ghost of a girl, a former student at Hogwarts, who was killed by her school mate, Tom Riddle. She now haunts the girls’ bathroom where she was killed, the prefects’ bathroom and any other watery places.
So we know that she was whining and crying all the time, annoying us with her high-pitched voice, but what we’re missing here is that in a magical world nothing is what it appears to be.
Shirley Henderson, the actress who played Moaning Myrtle was 37 years old during the second movie and she was the oldest actress to ever play a Hogwarts student!
Well, I suppose a ghost doesn’t really care about the passing of time!
