Indonesia is known as a Muslim country because most Indonesian people are the adherents of Islam. However, this does not apply in Bali.
Bali is called the holy island for a reason. It is the home to Hinduism in Indonesia. In fact, its culture and tradition evolved around the religion.
Hinduism is the third most powerful religions in the world. Yet, it is not spread wide demographically across the world like Islam, Christianity, or even Buddhism. Hinduism can only be found in several places in the world like India, Nepal, and Bali.
What makes this religion so powerful is that when it exists in one place, it rules. You can feel it within the Balinese atmosphere. This is one of the things which make Bali so fascinating.
