Eight Below – 2006
Starting the late Paul Walker, the movie Eight Below takes us on a journey to Antarctica where the star struggles to save his sled dogs.
Even thought the dogs have supporting roles, they have their own story and feature most of the movie.
Based on a true story, who took place in Antarctica and who told the adventures of fifteen abandoned Sakhalin Husky sled dogs left on a base, the movie made it to our top because we thought that the relations between the dogs are emotionally enough to impress any kind of viewer.
The movie was made with two Alaskan Malamutes (Buck and Shadow) and six Siberian Huskies (Max, Maya, Truman, Dewey, Shorty, and Old Jack) and other dogs who performed stunts for the main characters.
With a 7.3 score on IMDB we have a movie who its full of emotion, an adventure drama who tells a story which can make you love more and more the humble dog companion.
It shows us that the dogs are able of mixed feelings and emotions one towards another and they can express love, courage, compassion, leadership, respect and teamwork.
So guys, as a tribute to Paul Walker and as a proof that dogs are the most intelligent companions out there, you have to see this movie.
Next we have a comedy->
