What it comes as a surprise is that Switzerland has the most expensive healthcare cost, second to the U.S.
But unlike the healthcare system in the U.S., insurance in this country is not employment-based.
The Swiss can choose from a wide variety of private plans.
Also, subsidies from the government are offered for those who can’t afford it.
In 2012, life expectancy at birth of 84.7 years for women and 80.4 years for men. And these are the highest life expectancy in the world.
