For this generation design, even though a mid-engine or a rear-engine layouts had been considered, the front-engine with the rear-wheel drive platform remained the final solution.
The prime factor in the developing of this years one of the best looking cars of 2014 was the fact that the Corvette had become known as an old man’s toy.
