Though relatively non-central, the Nuth Club is one of the top clubbing hotspots in the city.
Located in Barra da Tijuca, this is a major dance-floor venue in Rio focused on a more casual demographic with jeans, collared shirts and no cover on certain nights.
Nuth becomes packed on weekends with DJs blasting the best regional mixes. Many people come for the music, but stay for the company—as visitors report friendly and down-to-earth patrons that may include a special somebody who could end up your true love for the night—or maybe even a lot longer.
It is even recommended that you get there before 10PM, as the place is usually jam-packed by 11 and won’t be letting anyone in unless they have reservations.
