The University Nevada, Reno was established in 1874 and you already figured it out its location.
Known as UNR, it was ranked in 2012 by Business Week as the 4th overall university with the best MBA program.
Also, it was ranked in the top 100 public institutions by U.S. New and World Report.
With 27 Greek houses, it’s easy to see why this is an ideal school to party.
These houses are divided in 4 major groups: Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, Multicultural Greek Council and Professional Fraternities (only 6 houses).
Their pride, the football team, Nevada Wolf Pack, is currently coached by Brian Polian.
And their mascot is a cute wolf named Alphie. Funny thing. Alphie has a younger brother, Wolfie Jr.
