9.Bhel Puri in India
One of the best street foods across the world is India’s Bhel Puri.
With an immense variety of street snack, India has nothing to complain about. From foods such aloo tikki (boiled potatoes and various spices) in the north to vada (fritter-type snack) in the south, there are plenty of options to choose from.
But today we are talking about bhel puri, (or bhelpuri), a delicious Indian snack made of puffed rice, fried vermicelli noodles, vegetables and a tangy tamarind sauce.
Mumbai is the best place to try this dish, and if you want, you can add some peanuts or pomegranate seeds as well. The bhelpuri is usually served in a paper folded in the form of a cone and is consumed using a paper spoon.
