In 2010, Richard Mille began his association with Rafael Nadal, with the gorgeous RM 27.
Also known as the ‘Rafael Nadal Watch’, the RM 27-01 comes in a limited edition of 50 pieces.
Weighing almost 19 grams, the watch has a baseplate attached by 4 braided steel cables, measuring 0.35 mm.
Each cable is fixed to the tensioner, passing into the movement before returning to the lower pulley.
It also features an ultra-light movement, thanks to the titanium baseplate and tourbillon carriage.
Its Tonneau case measures 45.98 mm x 38.90 mm x 10.05 mm.
We loved the 3D skeleton dial and the red accents on the open worked hour and minute hands.
The sublime watch is entirely hand made and finished to the highest standards. Obviously, with quality comes the high price. The Richard Mille RM 27-01 costs $913.000.
