10 Biggest Fines In The NBA History

5.

Micky Arison

The NBA league is strictly also when it comes to who and what declares and it seems that some people don’t understand this policy very well.

During the 2011 NBA lockout, when the league was dealing with economic problems between the players and the owners, Micky Arison, the owner of Miami Heat made a poor decision on what to say to the press.

He stated that the NBA management is a bunch of “greedy bastards” who made “stupid decision”, making him eligible for a pretty nasty fine.

So the NBA commissioner took the matter into his hands and fined the owner with $250,000, making Micky Arison understand that he has to censor himself when it comes to public statements about the NBA.
