7.Nora Hardwell – $1 million
Well, after all these dogs were her life partners.
Nora Hardwell was kind of a more solitary woman who lived all her life on her own, being surrounded only by the loving company of her two dogs, Tina and Kate.
And of course, someone had to inherit her money and who else could have done that other than her beloved companions? The woman left a will where she left a generous $1 million for:
the maintenance of any dog or dogs which I may own at my death for the period of 21 years from the date of my death or until the death of the last of my dogs, if earlier.
After Nora died, the dogs continued to live in her mansion and enjoy the four-acre lawn.
