6.Tawfiq Khoury – 65.000 bottles
One of the biggest cellars is Tawfiq Khoury‘s former wine collection.
Before he auctioned off a quarter of his bottles through Christie’s in 1997, Khoury was known to own around $65.000 bottles.
It seems like he and his wife were pretty used of owning a lot wine, them throwing fancy parties to entertain their friends, but with time, less parties were held, so Tawfiq decided to sell a part of his wine collection.
