Carlos Slim Helu is the richest man in Mexico. Need I say more?
He closed 2016 with $50 billion of estimated net worth. And today, it is somewhere around $55.3 billion. Yep, his wealth just keeps growing. How could it not be when he is making around $4 billion a year? And that is only at the least.
That amount of money comes from his business ventures which pretty much cover everything in Mexico. His biggest source of income is his huge telecommunication company. But he is also the stakeholder of other companies.
With such wealth, it should come as no surprise that Carlos has been given the title of the 4th richest billionaire in the world. And he is not doing this on his own. He is sharing his wealth and money-making companies with his entire family, making it the 6th richest family in the world.
