More clear ties with the Mafia, show actor and singer James Caan, who during his long lasting career had played numerous mob bosses on the big screen.
The documentation for these roles clearly came from his connection with the Colombo family, a mob association that is considered the youngest in the Cosa Nostra.
He gave the media the chance to clear up his ties back in 2011 when Andy “Mush” Russo a street boss in the family was arrested and another 125 of his friends prosecuted.
The actor came to the defense of the mob man and offered to post bail for him and some of his friends, but the judge denied the offer.
This action revealed that the mob street boss is Caan’s son godfather, leaving the media with a lead on where could the ties of James could actually go.
