N2. AT&T – $3.3 billion
Headquartered at Whitacre Tower in downtown Dallas, Texas, the brand is the second largest provider of mobile telephone and the largest provider of fixed telephone in the U.S.
As of May 2014, AT&T is the 23rd-largest company in the world as measured by a composite of revenues, profits, assets and market value, and the 16th-largest non-oil company.
AT&T is also the third-largest company in Texas, and is the largest non-oil company, behind only ExxonMobil and ConocoPhillips, and also the largest Dallas company.
Last year it phased out its long-running “It’s Not Complicated” campaign in favor of a new “Better Network” messaging, swapping kid brand ambassadors for geeks called “The Network Guys.”
