11. Frank Abbandando (1910 – 1942)
Frank Abbandando was also a part of Murder, Inc. gang of Brooklyn, New York. He joined them at some early point in the 1920s. On his early years, he had already killed thirty people for around $500 per murder.
Based on Abe Reles’s information, Frank was captured and convicted for the 1937 Rudnick murder. Some says, he whispered a threat into the judge’s ear as he walked to the witness stand during his trial. Cold. But thank goodness that did not affect the verdict.
Frank was sentenced to death for first degree murder. And in February 1942, he was electrocuted at Sing Sing Prison, New York.
On his early twenties, Frank got the nickname “The Dasher” because of his skill at baseball at a reform school. He was sent there after being convicted of beating a New York City police officer. All of these remind me of another dasher from The Walking Dead, Negan.
