In 1946, Marion Davies purchased the legendary Beverly House for William Randolph Hearst, who lived there until his death.
Worth a whopping $115 million, the mansion features a living room with 22-foot high arched ceilings, a 50-foot entry hall, a library, billiard room with herringbone parquet floors, carved stone fireplace, dining room, breakfast room, family room with outdoor terrace for 400 people, a garden with an art-deco night club, and a wine cellar.
Originally built by banking executive Milton Getz, the Beverly House was the place were of the famous horse-head-on-a-bed scene from ‘The Godfather’ and the place where John and Jackie Kennedy spent their honeymoon.
