1Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Competizione – 3,5 million $
And this is the most expensive Alfa Romeo car in the world!
Being the first post war Alfa Romeo car, the production of the 6C 2500 road car recommenced early in 1947.
During the war, it was hidden in Oscar Jankovits’s garage in Fiume. He was the man that designed it and originally introduced at the 1925 Salone dell’Automobile di Milano as the 6C 1500.
Highlight of the Competizione’s sporting career were the two third place finishes in the Mille Miglia of 1949 and 1950, and the 1950 Targa Florio victory.
The aerodynamics of the car is impressive. It has an ultra low ‘drop snoot’ nose and elongated driver’s compartment that made the 6C 2500 Competizione’s body a very efficient one.
The price tag of this car is 3,5 million $.
