5Green Lantern – $200 million
Based on the DC Comics character of the same name, Green Lantern was released in 2011, starring Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Tim Robbins and Angela Bassett.
Just 2 months ahead of the movie’s release, it was announced that the visual effects budget has been raised by $9 million.
So now we have a movie with $200 million budget, grossing $219.851 million worldwide. We don’t call this a win at all!
