Starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer, ‘The Lone Ranger’ is one of the most infamous films that went over its budget, and there was no pay off in the end. And that’s too bad. We really liked that movie.
Released in 2013, the American action western film was originally set at $215 million but blew up to $250 million.
Why? For several locomotives constructed specifically for the film. In the end, ‘The Lone Ranger’ grossed $260 million worldwide.
