Yes guys Honus Wagner got the number one position in this list too. He is the man with the most expensive card in the world.
But that title isn’t in vain, no. His card is a very rare specimen with only 57 copies known to exist.
Because Wagner was a non-smoking guy and never gave his permission for his image to be used by the ATC.
Wagner was against his image being associated with tobacco so he demanded the company to start selling the card.
In 2007, a mint condition Wagner ATC card sold for $2.8 million.
