Fine Dining Restaurants in Montreal | Top 10
You already know which are the best restaurants in Las Vegas, Miami Beach and Hong Kong, but you know which are the fine dining restaurants in Montreal?
Not to worry! This article covers it!
Although Montreal is smaller that the capital of Canada or even Toronto, it might impress you when it comes to fine dining.
Well known for its festivities, such as The Festiblues or The Jazz Festival, this place attracts more people year after year.
And its no wonder that famous celebrities such as Gerard Butler and Leonard Cohen have moved here. Without no further talking, let’s get straight to business.
We begin our top 10 list with this restaurant located on 2491 Notre-Dame Street West.
Named after Charles ‘Joe-Beef’ McKiernan, who is a Montreal innkeeper from the 1800s, Joe Beef serves seafood and steaks for those of you who prefer these foods.
And the restaurant was the inspiration of David McMillan and Frederic Morin, who released their first cookbook entitled ‘The Art of Living According to Joe Beef‘, as you can see in the second image.
Like Au Pied du Cochon, about which we’ll discuss later, Joe Beef has a menu from which we deduce that the guys are a little greedy. Their menu is all crammed onto a single chalkboard.
Nevertheless, Joe Beef serves tasteful dishes, such as Foie Gras Double Down sandwich and you can also try something from the in-house oyster bar, as well as an exquisite wine.
