Opened in 1993, by Normand Laprise and Christine Lamarche, Toque! was on St-Denis street and had only 10 employees for a dining room that could host 55 guests.
In 2004, Toque! moved on 900 Jean-Paul Riopelle Place and since then has been collecting honors, such as CAA Five Diamond Rating.
Also, it received positive reviews from magazines such as wine Spectator, GQ Magazine, Food & Wine and Gourmet.
Offering traditional dishes like suckling pig (artichoke, eggplant, tomate, chanterelle, corn, mushrooms, smoked sauce, roaster garlic puree) as well as an extensive wine list, Toque! is a leader in Quebec’s gastronomy, becoming a learning center for young cooks.
