2Hotel Helix, Dubai
Located in Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Bay, Helix is the winning design of Leeser Architects.
As we can all agree, it has an unusual shape, and its floors aren’t quite ordinary either; just spirals in sections of a corkscrew from top to bottom and with no clear breaks.
The guests will stay in 208 comfortable rooms, in which the temperature and humidity will be adjusted by an indoor waterfall.
The hotel also includes a glass-bottomed swimming pool on the roof and a running track on the 5th floor.
This unusual hotel will use the most renewable energy sources such as ocean water, sun and wind.
