In 2011 he became the youngest player ever to reach 10 million euros in career earnings on the European Tour. And then a year later, he became the youngest player to reach 10 million dollars in career earnings on PGA Tour.
McIlroy has represented Europe, Great Britain & Ireland, and Ireland as both an amateur and a professional. In 2015, Forbes ranked him the third highest played athletes in the world.
