Currently playing for Big God, Zhang ‘xiao8’ Ning is a professional DotA player who began his professional career in September 2010 playing in Dream.
In 2011, he joined Catastrophic Cruel Memories along with Zhou, ddc and Ferrari 430 and, after some success, they moved to Invictus Gaming in a $6 million deal.
After Invictus Gaming failed to perform in The International 2011, Zhang Ning and ddc moved to LGD Gaming, where Xiao8 played the offlane prior to and, during The International 2012, he played the solo mid role.
He was rumored to be part of a ‘Chinese Dream Team’ and it was later confirmed that he was acquired for almost $100.000.
First playing the support role until ZSMJ and KingJ were replaced by Sansheng and Banana, Xiao8 became the offlaner.
Despite almost being eliminated in the group stages, the team won The International 2014.
