Never ask for recognition
The author who inspired the subject of this article may be a little partial, stating that at the office you can ask for recognition but in other places don’t.
The best example for us are the people that we are trying to look and act like, the rich. They don’t usually ask for recognition even in the domains they work in because at the end of the day a way of recognition of their worth is the amount of money they make.
So should the rest of us ask for recognition? Never ask because the best way that recognition comes, is when you do everything possible to achieve something. The rich offer us the perfect example how everyone has to be, but never asking for recognition is a very hard thing to do in a society where you must be at the top of everyone to be someone.
When you did your best, recognition will come freely from everyone. You will never see in the day to day life a famous star shouting that he wants an Oscar. You will see him play the role of his life in that movie.
