11. Philanthropist for all cause
It is pretty common among rich people to make some time, effort, and money for charity. But most of them support a certain cause. Take Oprah Winfrey for example. Her philanthropy works are dedicated to girls’ right for education. But J-Lo is down for all kinds of humanitarian cause.
About eight years ago, J-Lo and her sister started a charity organization called Lopez Family Foundation. It focuses on helping underprivileged women and children. And it works together with some hospitals and medical centers.
But that is not the only humanitarian cause she supports. She has been raising a lot of money for other causes, such as HIV/AIDS research and violence against women.
And even before the Orlando Shooting triggered the world’s movement on LGBT rights, J-Lo has been an avid supporter. Back in 2013, she was presented a humanitarian award for her support. One of her singles, Love Make the World Go Round, was dedicated to the victims of the Orlando shooting.
