Lotus Belle Tents Will Provide You with the Best Luxury Camping Experience
Camping has never been luxurious until the Lotus Belle tents have arrived on the market.
You know that when it comes to camping, you don’t expect to be surrounded in luxury things, because that’s why you go camping, to be closer with the nature.
But that is not true anymore because the Australian company Lotus Belle has come up with a solution for the people who are always living in luxury.
Who created Lotus Belle?
Lotus Belle was created by Harriet Seddon, a girl who spent up her childhood camping with her family.
After she has spent a majority of her life living in a tent, Harriet started design the initial ideas for the Lotus Belle tent. That happened when she was nineteen and was in her first year of design school.
“I always wanted to be a tent designer from about 5 years old. I spent my early childhood making camping furniture out of mechano or bits of wood I found around the place, but I couldn’t work out what qualifications I would need to get a job with one of big tent companies.
‘I designed the Lotus Belle, but then put it on the backburner for a few years while I had my kids and thought I should get a ‘sensible job’ and worked as a textiles teacher at a high school.
“My passion for tent making started to creep back into my mind and I found myself encouraging teenage boys in my class to design and make one-man tents. I decided to bite the bullet, left teaching and showed my designs to a tent manufacturer who imported bell tents.
“He thought the design was great and took me under his wing to meet the factory where we made the first Lotus Belle prototype.” – The founder says on the company’s website.
Then her tents came up on the market in 2012. And ever since then she has revolutionized the way we go camping.
Her company has recently released the newest edition in its range of luxury tents, a series of glamping (luxury camping).
What’s their best product?
The Lotus Belle Deluxe is offering you the most spacious camping experience yet. It provides you with 16 feet of space to work with for all of your needs in the Lotus Belle tent.
It can easily fit larger furniture such as a bed, dresser, and shelves should you so desire.
The biggest difference between the original Lotus Belle and the Deluxe edition is the back panel.
In the original Lotus Belle design, there is only a mesh window on the back panel whereas in the Deluxe edition there is a full-sized door in the back.
This can provide another easy way to get in and out of the tent as needed instead of being able to only go through on one side.
From what is made of?
Outback Deluxe, which is a single skin tent made from thick canvas and features mesh screens, large roof vents, increased ventilation, a second door and Velcro flaps.
The canvas is a cotton and polyester blend which is durable and has a natural feel and, according to Walsh, it’s their most breathable design yet. It is also fully wind resistant and features clear window panels.
The tent takes as little as 45 minutes to erect and the design packs down into a banana shaped bag. With the poles already attached the tent then only takes 15 to 20 minutes to assemble.
“It’s super-fast and great for festivals and pop-up hotel set ups,” says Walsh.
How much it costs?
The 4m Lotus Belle Outback Deluxe costs $2,600 while the 5m Lotus Belle Deluxe is priced at $3,050.
