7Highgate Cemetery, London, England
Located in London, Highgate Cemetery has almost 170.000 people buried in around 53.000 graves.
Significant figures like Karl Marx, George Eliot, and even the parents of Charles Dickens are buried here.
Like other cemeteries, Highgate became a fashionable place for burials, with many Gothic tons and buildings. Its grounds are full of trees, ivy, flowers and bushes.
The cemetery is divided into 2 parts, the East and West cemetery.
As of March 1, 2013, the West Cemetery can be visited only with guides. Funny thing.
If you want a tour, you have to book it. And you can do that via cemetery’s website.
