6. Monsters vs. Aliens – $175 Million
Disney is not the only company that makes good animated movies. This one was released in 2009 by DreamWorks Animation for $175 million.
Inspired by B-rated sci-fi/horror movies of ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s the animated version made over $380 million at box office. Quite awesome for a battle between Monsters and Aliens.
Monsters vs. Aliens was DreamWorks’18th animated feature film and took aproximatley 46 million computing hours to make.
