5. WALL-E – $180 Million
The cute little robot made its way into our top expensive movies. The most unconventional animated film from Pixar, WALL-E was produced for $180 million.
But this movie is not like the others. In the first 40 minutes or so, little dialogue is spoken. But that doesn’t make the views leave the room. Even more, it makes them be there, in a different world the world of a robot and everything about it.
Is the story of WALL-E a lonely robot designed to clean up a polluted Earth. And the robot was so liked by the people that managed to earn over $520 million worldwide.
It was also nominated and won multiple Academy Awards nominations and ranked as #1 on TIME’s Best Movies of Decade list.
