Most Expensive Apartments in New York

6.Residences at the Ritz Carlton – $70 million

Known as Hotel St. Moritz until 2002, this building has been a Central Park dream ever since Hungarian architect Emery Roth designed it back in 1930.

The luxury hotel was closed in 1999 for remodeling and was opened again in 2002 with its new name: The Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park.

And to make you better understand just how precious this apartment is, the interior design was done by Michael Smith. I don’t know if you know who we’re talking about here, but this man has been decorating the White House since 2008!

There are twelve spectacular residences at the Ritz Carlton and one of them was bought by Steve Wynn, American business magnate, for the price of $70 million back in 2012!
