Only few farmers produce cheese from moose milk and so the rarity of this product demands a higher price!
At the Moose House in Bjurholm, Sweden you will find Gullan, Haelga and Juna the moose that give 300 kilograms of milk annually.
With the help of farmers Christer and Ulla Johansson the milk is transformed into cheese that can be worth $455 per pound!
Also, the price of the cheese can depend on the fact that the moose can only be milked between May and September.
The delicacy is served up at the Algen Hus restaurant in Sweden.
