A new restaurant in London is selling the 5th most expensive cocktail in the world.
Gigi’s, in Mayfair, created the signature cocktail for actress and singer Grace Jones who appeared in James Bond film ‘A View to a Kill’ alongside Roger Moore.
Priced at $13.860, the Gigi Cocktail is a take on the champagne cocktail for the uber rich of Mayfair, made from 1990 vintage Cristal and 1888 Samalens Vieille Relique Vintage Bas Armagnac brandy and topped off with gold leaf, Angostura Bitters and sugar.
Casare Papagna, the restaurant manager, said he wanted to give the actress something ‘truly special‘. And he did!
