6.Stuart Weitzman – Platinum Guild – $1.06 Million
One of the most expensive diamond shoes in the world are the Platinum Guild Shoes.
Another creation of Stuart Weitzman, of course. The strappy stilettos have 464 finely cut pear-shaped Kwiat diamonds. What makes these shoes even more outstanding is that the precious straps of gems can be removed and worn a necklace or as a bracelet.
The pencil heels sandals cost $1.06 million and were the first million dollar shoes to be created for an Oscar nominee. The Platinum Guild were worn by Laura Harring at the 2002 Oscars.
The actress was accompanied by three bodyguards, because hey, she was wearing a million dollar pair of shoes, after all.
The war in Irak stopped these shoes from making their debut!
