3.Stuart Weitzman – Cinderella Slippers – $2 Million
The third spot on our list of the most expensive diamond shoes is the world is occupied by the Cinderella Slippers.
Another one of Weitzman’s creations, these glamorous shoes were inspired by Disney’s most beloved princess, Cinderella. The shoes are made from fine Italian leather and 565 Kwiat diamonds that are carefully set in platinum.
The shoes cost in total $2 million, just $1 million going to the rare 5 carat amaretto diamond which is the only spot of colour on the slippers.
The 10 cm stilettos have a delicate lace-like design, appearing to be made of glass and leaving only the diamonds to shine. The Cinderella slippers were first worn by Alison Krauss at the 2004 Academy Awards.
