Our first winner is Harry Winstons’s pair of Ruby Slippers.
I say first winner, because the first and second spot are taken by two different pair of shoes with the same outstanding price of $3 million.
This replica of the red shoes from the Wizard of Oz we’ve talked earlier, are not only more luxurious, but more expensive as well.
Along with the next pair of shoes, these are the world’s most expensive shoes, at a whooping price of $3 million. The glitzy shoes took two months to be created and have have 4.600 sparkling red rubies summing up 1.350 carats, and 50 carats worth of diamonds.
The shoes were created by Ronald Winston in 1989, as a celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz and except for the original shoes, these are the only shoes in our list that are not created by Stuart Weitzman.
