Initially awarded $4.8 Billion it seems that the final amount Elena Rybolovleva took from the Russian oligarch Dmitry is closer to 4 than 5.
Their divorce happens to be the biggest and most expensive divorce ever recorded in world history with the mention that there is only 1 case where the financials were never disclosed that is rumored to be at least twice as expensive!
Back in 2010 Dmitry Rybolvlev was ranked $79 richest billionaire in the world and by 2014 he’d drop to #147. He’s a Russian business man – making his money in the fertilizer industry -, philanthropist, investor and owner of the AS Monaco FC.
The couple together were worth just under $9 Billion and the court ruled that half of that should go to his “beloved” wife!
That settlement earned Elena $184 millions for each of the 26 years of marriage!
