What are really 11 million dollars? Nothing at all!
Hotels.com is the most famous website for booking hotel rooms, with the impressive number of 85 websites available in 34 languages.
The former president of Hotels.com, David Roche, did an interview a few years ago with the BBC where he seemed to “forget” just how much they paid for the domain.
He said that at that time, back in 2001 when they bought the domain, it was “a crazy sum of money”, but then David added:
