The 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II is among the last of the hand built cars of America. Only 3.012 were built in 1956 and 1957.
Purchased on August 4, 1956, by the King, in Miami, the car quickly became one of his favorites, and he even drove it to New Orleans for the filming of ‘King Creole’.
Originally unveiled at the Paris Auto Show, in 1955, the car had every luxury car feature available at the time.
The white automobile was sold to an anonymous buyer 1999, at a Guernsey’s charity auction.
